7:30 a.m. – Global Group of Heads of State and Government for the Prevention and Control of NCDs were hosted at The Plaza Hotel by the World Health Organization’s Global Ambassador on Noncommunicable Diseases and Injury, former Mayor of the City of New York, Mr. Michael Bloomberg. Also in attendance were the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus; President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo. Prime Minister Mottley spoke at this event during the round table segment.

8:30 a.m. – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers Global Awards and Goalkeepers at The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Prime Minister Mottley spoke during the Heads of State and Government segment as well as during a discussion led by moderator June Sarpong.
