COP28 Recognition Ceremony
Venue: Permanent Mission of the UAE, New York
On behalf of the UAE leadership, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Chairman of the COP28 Higher Committee, presented the First Class Order of Zayed II to global dignitaries for their contributions to the success of COP28.
The recipients included:

– His Excellency Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
– Her Excellency Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment of Singapore.
– Michael R. Bloomberg, Founder, Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies and UN Special Envoy for Climate Ambition & Solutions.
– Damilola Ogunbiyi, CEO and Special Representative for the UN Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy for All.
– Francesco La Camera, Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency.
– Arvind Krishna, CEO of IBM.
– Brian Moynihan, Chairman and CEO of Bank of America.
– Simon Stiell, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework on Climate Change.
